Privacy Policy

What we keep

Your account: the email address you sign in with and, if you set them up, the names and PINs of the family profiles on your account. Passwords are stored scrambled and nobody at Color with Grace can read them.

Your work: the pictures you color, the books you build, your writing notes, and any photo you upload as a guide for a drawing.

Your purchases: what you bought and when. Card numbers are handled by the payment company and never reach us.

Basic app records needed to keep the app working, such as error reports and counts of how many pictures an account has made.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

We do not run advertising trackers or behavior profiling in the app.

We do not use your artwork or your uploaded photos to train picture-making models, and we do not show your work to other people unless you share it yourself.

Children and family profiles

Children use the app through a family profile created by an adult account holder. A family profile has a name and a PIN and cannot buy anything, change billing, or share pages publicly.

A parent or guardian can see, download, or delete everything on a child's profile at any time from the family profiles page.

Photos you upload

A photo you upload as a drawing guide is used to make your picture and to keep your hairstyle guide working for your later drawings. It is kept on your account and your device, not shown to anyone else, and removed when you remove it.

Share links

When you create a share link, that one picture becomes viewable by anyone who has the link — that is the whole point of it. No sign-in is needed to view it and the rest of your gallery stays private. Deleting the picture or turning off the link stops it working.

The email list

Lesson reminders and news are sent through AWeber, and only to people who asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

Companies that help run the app

A small number of services make the app work: hosting and the database that stores your account and artwork, the payment processor that handles cards, the email service for the newsletter, and the picture-making service that draws new pages. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep things

Your work stays until you delete it or close your account. Deleting a picture removes it from your devices and from our storage. Closing an account removes the account and its artwork; purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can download or print any picture, delete any picture, remove a family profile, leave the email list, or ask us to close your account entirely and erase what we hold. Ask through the Complaints page and we will handle it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything significant will be said plainly in the app.
